Membership Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to your application process and membership in the NDL which you agree to abide by while applying for and obtaining NDL membership.

The NDL is a privately owned organization and currently only operates in the United States of America.
The NDL and its tournaments and events are governed by NDL rules. All NDL members agree to abide by and follow NDL rules as listed herein.
Only current (in good standing & valid) NDL members are permitted to participate in official NDL tournaments and events.
Valid NDL members will receive a digital NDL membership card.
NDL membership is $60 per year (January 1st - December 31st) and can be canceled at any time. There is no pro-rating of membership dues.
Membership applicants must fill in all required fields on the NDL website. The name on the applicant’s membership registration must match the applicant’s state issued photo driver’s license or state issued photo identification card. Members will be required to present their NDL membership card and their state issued photo ID upon request at NDL tournaments and events.
Telephone, emails and home addresses of members may be used for important league communications. The NDL is not responsible for communications not received because of incorrect and/or outdated member contact information.
You must be at least 21 years of age for NDL membership.
NDL membership approval requires the following three steps be completed:

Applicants not approved for membership will be refunded. There are no other refunds of membership payments under any other circumstance.
Members taking part in a tournament and/or event must pay the tournament/event entry fee in advance.
The NDL is a professional dice shooting league but all players of any standing are welcome to join. Tournaments will be designed and put on according to player ranking. Player ranking will be the sole discretion of NDL ownership.
Unsportsman, disparaging, demeaning, disruptive conduct, or rules violations may result in membership suspension and/or membership termination.
If your membership is suspended and/or terminated, you understand that you will lose any previously earned ranking and future eligibility for participation in NDL tournaments and events.
You agree that all NDL determinations of a third party Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) are final. The ADR being your sole remedy in the event you disagree with a ruling or determination of NDL ownership. You agree not to sue or assert any claim (including for damages, declaratory or injunctive relief) in any court, forum or proceeding. If you bring any such claim in violation of this agreement, you agree to reimburse the NDL for its reasonable attorney fees and costs in defending and obtaining dismissal of the claim.
You understand that NDL tournaments/events may occur in bars, legal gambling venues, and other locations that serve or permit alcohol consumption. The choice to consume alcohol before, during or after NDL tournament/event participation is your own.
The NDL and its representatives and/or employees are not responsible for monitoring member’s consumption of alcohol. Nor are they responsible for determining whether members can be served or are intoxicated or for detaining anyone from leaving the tournament/event venue in any manner.
The NDL and its representatives and/or employees will not be liable for acts, conduct or consequences that might occur from member alcohol consumption.
The NDL is not responsible for the condition, maintenance or upkeep of its tournament/event venues. If there is a condition at the venue that you consider unsafe or dangerous, please notify the venue’s management.
You agree to waive and release the NDL (including their officers, directors, employees and agents) from any claim, cause of action, loss and damages, arising from or relating to your participation in NDL tournaments or any NDL related event, whether current or in the future, including without limitation, any claim, damage or loss relating to or arising from (a) any ruling, judgment or decision of NDL (b) any bodily or personal injury sustained by you, or (c) damage to or loss of property.
The NDL expects excellent sportsmanship during NDL tournaments and events. Physical altercations and verbal abuse are strictly prohibited by NDL rules and any member engaging in such misconduct is subject to suspension from the NDL and/or termination of NDL membership.
As a member of the NDL you are also a patron of the tournament/event venue and must abide by said venue rules and regulations. Like any private business, a venue location has the right to remove and exclude from their premises any customer/patron whose conduct or behavior, in the sole judgment of the venue management makes him/her an unacceptable customer of the establishment. The NDL has no responsibility or control over the venue’s management decisions.
You agree to pay for any injury, damage or loss to person or property caused by your conduct, acts and inactions while participating in NDL tournaments and events. If any loss is incurred or any charge or claim is made against the NDL for any injury, damage or loss to person or property due to your conduct, acts or inaction, you agree to reimburse and indemnify the NDL against such charge or claim.
Membership applicants agree to the NDL’s Privacy Policy.
You understand that photographs and video recordings may be made as a part of NDL tournaments and events. You therefore grant the NDL (and our licensees, designees and assigns) the full right to photograph and/or video record you and/or your voice; use your name in association therewith; use, broadcast, reproduce, distribute and exhibit such photographs and recordings freely for any purpose, including for advertising, promotional and commercial purposes; and edit, modify, adapt, make derivative works from, copyright and otherwise use the pictures and recordings as the NDL chooses. You waive any claim of any right or interest in the photographs and recordings and any compensation or other benefits for our appearance in any images or recordings.
